About Intermountain Controls Nichols-Given
Intermountain Valve & Controls (IVC) was founded on April 1st, 1995 by Kris Johnson, a former Keystone Valve employee. Based out of a garage in Englewood, Colorado, the company consisted of three employees that serviced Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska and New Mexico.
Utilizing a variety of product lines including Bray’s product profile of valves, actuators and controls, IVC developed a reputation for its honesty, integrity and superior customer service. Under Kris’ excellent leadership, IVC expanded rapidly and diversified into the oil and gas, food and beverage, power, and water/wastewater industries. IVC was purchased by Bray Controls in 1997, which allowed for additional growth into Utah, Nevada and Idaho.
In the following decades, Intermountain Valve & Controls evolved into one of Bray’s most successful sales offices, winning multiple nationwide sales awards across various product lines.
Founded in 1984, Nichols-Given and Associates (NGA) became a well-known and respected valve and actuation company specializing in engineered valve solutions. NGA was purchased by Bray in 2012, and in 2020 the two companies officially merged into Intermountain Controls Nichols-Given (ICNG).
With the capability to engineer, fabricate and automate complex valve assemblies in-house, Intermountain Controls Nichols-Given offers decades of experience and expertise in providing engineered flow-control solutions.
